Annie Chun's customers love to play around with some of Annie Chun's packaged food offerings—adding vegetables, making their own sushi, and more. Native Instinct created a site rich with content, to educate novices about Asian cooking. The site includes over 75 recipes, and interesting historical and gastronomical information about ingredients typically used in Asian cooking. All the content is cross-referenced with each other and with links to Annie Chun's products that customers can use to create delicious meals. And of course products are integrated with Annie Chun's e-commerce partner so they can be purchased online.
We built the site using Drupal, an open source content management system, that makes it easy for any non-technical staff at Annie Chun's to update the Web site. Finally, we created a microsite for an exciting new product, Annie Chun's Gochujang sauce. We built an online contest that enables users to upload their own recipes that use the sauce. Visitors to the site will be able to vote on their favorite recipe, thus creating a viral buzz and driving more traffic to the site.
